Elevation Always Comes with Adversity

Usually, before you’re about to elevate, you’re always faced with challenges. I know this firsthand.

For four and a half years, I poured my heart into keeping a Discord community alive. I taught, I showed up, and I made sure people had the education and resources they needed. But as the community grew, so did the jealousy. A former business partner, someone I once supported and even protected, decided that the value of what I brought to the table was too much for him to handle.

I offered to give away my educational resources for free in exchange for just a 30% stake in the Discord, because I truly wanted people to learn and grow. But instead of seeing that vision, he responded by saying, “I am the funnel. You wouldn’t be able to do this without me.”

After much prayer and seeking God’s direction, I made the decision to walk away and create what has now become The Red-E Society. That’s when the attacks started. My former business partner launched a defamation campaign, spreading lies and innuendos to his 700,000+ followers. To this day, he refuses to respond to my calls, texts, or emails to resolve anything like a man.

The truth is, for years I protected his name. When people called him a fraud, a scammer, or a liar because he rarely showed up for his own Discord, charging people $100 while hiding in the background, I stood in the gap and kept things running. People were upset that they never saw him him; and all they knew was me and the volunteers I brought on.

Now that I’ve stepped away, I’ve had to deal with a lot of toxicity left behind from that environment. The toxicity was even affecting my ego. I choose to stay positive. I choose prayer. And I choose to keep building something that is rooted in faith, encouragement, holiness, and real value for people.

That’s why I created the Red-E Society, a place with no ego, no pride, no toxicity. Just a community of people pushing each other to be better, not only in the markets, but in life.

Because every time adversity shows up, it’s a sign: elevation is right around the corner.

Thank you for sharing this! I completely agree that elevation in any area of life is often accompanied by adversity. It’s a powerful reminder that challenges can lead to personal growth and success. Embracing adversity as a part of our journey allows us to develop resilience and fortitude. Your emphasis on maintaining a positive mindset and seeking support from the community resonates deeply. This perspective not only applies to trading but to all aspects of life. Looking forward to applying these lessons and continuing the journey of growth!
